Fernandina, FL – In February, RYAM was recognized during an award ceremony for its sponsorship of Sounds on Centre—a series of free concerts and events held in Fernandina Beach every first Friday from April through October.

Located in Fernandina Beach’s historic downtown, Sounds on Centre is fun for the whole family and attended by thousands of residents.

“It’s a wonderful way to bring the community together,” said C.A. McDonald, general manager of RYAM’s Fernandina Beach plant.  “Sounds on Centre is a beloved tradition and part of what makes Fernandina Beach unique. We love this event and we’re proud to play our part in making it possible each year.”

The award ceremony took place in City Hall, where McDonald accepted the award on RYAM’s behalf.

“This tradition goes back over ten years, and without our gracious sponsors, we simply could not provide this free series of concerts to the good citizens here in Nassau County,” said Chuck Hall, chairman of the Historic Fernandina Business Association. “THANK YOU for being a Sponsor.
